MINSK, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Belarus and Russia have agreed on mutual recognition of visas issued to foreigners coming for the FIFA World Cup and European Games.
An intergovernmental agreement on the mutual recognition was signed by Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov here on Tuesday.
Vladimir Makei told reporters that the foreign fans in Russia can travel through Belarus visa-free during the 2018 FIFA World Cup from June 4 to July 25. And Russia will introduce visa-free entry for the foreign fans attending the second European Games, which will be held in Minsk from June 20-30, 2019.
