BEIJING, May 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted near coast of Peru at 1714 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 15.04 degrees south latitude and 75.56 degrees west longitude. ■
