JAKARTA, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- A total of 14 Indonesian badminton players have been competing at the Malaysia Masters tournament which kicked off on Tuesday.

The Badminton Association of Indonesia announced that two mixed-doubles teams will be entering the competition.

Furthermore, three shuttlers will compete in the men's singles events and three teams will compete in the men's doubles events. Two women will play in the ladies' singles events and two pairs will compete in the ladies' doubles events.

The Malaysia Masters will take place in the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur.

The tournament will run until January 21.
