JAKARTA, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong, China kicked off their Asian Games men's soccer tournament with a 3-1 win over Lao PRD in West Java province in Indonesia on Friday.

Hong Kong, China led 2-0 in the first half in the Group A match, thanks to Cheng Chin Lung's goal in the 20th minute and Tan Chun Lok in 40th.

Phithack Kongmathilath pulled one back for Loas in the 62nd minute but Lathasay Lounlasy's own goal in the 86th minute sealed the victory for their opponents.
